It's misinformed churchgoers that does all the things you're saying.
The REAL CHRISTIANS (JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES) don't worship Jesus because:

The true God has made other faithful servants like Gods before Jesus {Exodus 7:1; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1} He is one JEHOVAH (YHWH) not three persons in one God misconstrued by churches of Christendom {Deuteronomy 6:4 compare to Mark 12:29} Jesus himself declared JEHOVAH is the one and only true God {John 17:3} Jesus told his disciples that himself and all worshipers of JEHOVAH have ONE father and God {John 20:17} Jesus cried for help when he's under severe test! Hebrews 5:7

So he is not the one true God that Christians in the first century worshiped back then.

And before i leave tell trinitarians that Thomas never referred to Jesus as his Lord and God rather he said so in amazement after seeing a dead man walking around alive with holes in his palm the bruises inflicted on him when he was executed. John 20:26-28

The same thing often happen when we see what seems impossible we will shout in Yorùbá:
Olúwa Ọlọ́run mi ò!
Meaning
My Lord and my God!

It doesn't mean we have seen God or that God is visible at the event.

Meanwhile if you want to know the significance of Jesus of Nazareth and what he has done so far for mankind in our time you're free to ask me it's not just about quoting what is written in a book rather we will both consider the practical applications and benefits of what Jesus did in the first century and it's benefits today!

And He Who is called Jesus, IS THE LORD in Genesis and Psalms

"John 8:42,/Proverbs 8:22-30. John 14:20.

And that for our own existence and our knowledge we came to know Him because God Spoke us into existence by His Speaking as you see in Genesis 1 to wit: "And God Said..."

And it is He Who is referred to as "The Lord God" as His introduction, in Genesis which after introduction, The Name changes to "The Lord". A Name no one bore except Him which He bore again when He came visiting as a man with The Name, Jesus Christ.

AND WE ALL CALL HIM THE LORD!

And so are there 2 "The Lord"?
No! Only One, The Lord.

And neither does anyone have this Name

That Name is "'The Lord". Full Name, The Lord God!

That LORD is fully in upper case showing that it's not about Jesus rather the LORD who sent Jesus:

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.Psalms 95:6

The KJV referred the Almighty God as LORD while Jesus is referred to as Lord:

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.Psalms 110:1

So it's another person that Psalms is referring to not Jesus! smiley
