NHF another way of milking Nigeria civil servant of their hard earned money, government shouldn't have made the contribution compulsory or it should have been voluntary. But because of how the people in charge want to siphon money, they put everybody on NHF deduction, wether you consent or not. Nigerians always doing things the wrong way.

I worked for over 20 yrs in a Big Financial Industry and I know that National Housing Funds , have been deducting the Workers Salary - at sources, every month, without blinking and with Accountabilities!
• every Month, certain amount- part of Salary are deducted at Source!
• these Pools of Money from Workers were then send to the Federal Mortgage Bank - as a housing Funds.
• According to the templates sold to Nigerian Workers,if you desire to get a house or Build your 🏠,the Funds supposed to make it accessible for you,then you can get additional support but this was never was,as thousands have died and frustrated to retrieved their Money from the Institutions, established by the Govt,which inturn put impediments for you to get your funds or a house but Million of Nigeria s have lost in both sides- no house,no fund retrieval! What a Nation!
• Just imagine the Multiple NBILLIONS- if not N-Trllion some people have been feeding on this Money- from different Sectors of the Economy - with Federal Govt - Mortgage Bank Subsidiary for Decades!
