I completely understand where you are coming from.

The Federal Mortgage Bank disburses the NHF Loan through PMBs or Primary Mortgage Banks.

Thank you for your contribution.

You can't just be an online platform when you are talking about housing. Is it online that you will give me the house? Tell me your physical address so I can take you serious.

Is This Not The National Housing Funds Or Is it Another Thing?
-OP ( H28)- are you okay at all?
All of you gathering, supposed to be arrested by the EFCC-for being a fraud or deceptive and I wander what this Nairaland Forum have turned into?
I worked for over 20 yrs in a Big Financial Industry and I know that National Housing Funds , have been deducting the Workers Salaries- at sources, including mine, every month, without blinking and without Accountabilities!
1• every Month, certain amount- part of Salary are deducted at Source!
2• these Pools of Money from Workers working ,were then send to the Federal Mortgage Bank or its created Subsidiary - as a Housing Funds for those whosoever Contributed!
3• According to the templates sold to Nigerian Workers then,if you desire to get a house or Build yours 🏠,the Funds accumulated supposed to make it accessible for you, then you can get additional support but this was never was,as thousands of Nigeria s,if not Millions have died and frustrated and unable to retrieve their Money from the Institutions--established by the Govt, which inturn put impediments for you to get your funds back or a house .
4•But Million of Nigerians have lost in both sides- no house,no fund retrieval! What a Nation!
5• Just imagine the Multiple- NBILLIONS- if not N-Trllion,some people have been feeding on this Money- from different Sectors of the Economy - with Federal Govt - Mortgage Bank Subsidiary for Decades!
6• those who tried to get the funds are restricted,so,I find this Advertisement or so,so naunceating ,for those who don't know to know the genesis!
7• the National Assembly( the Senators/ House of Reps)- whose portfolios/ department were never concerned or even Oversights - Past and Present ,are they saying they are not Aware of the NHF -Money ,just staying idle, for decades or where is Our Money?
8• Some years ago, the Footsoldiers of NHF- were dangling another carrots in Abuja( as if Abuja is only where they Collected Money)-that they are about to build Houses for the Contributors - which means - selective People but it never materialized!
9•Why was the Money Collected Nationwide, from those working Workers Not Selective or why don't you return the Money,to the Owners - with the highest Interest Paid by banks, because having cheated the people who contributed, you can't tell me that - for example,theN200,000- contributed since 10,15 or 20yrs,will still remains same amount!
-Why do we duped others easily in Nigeria?
-Was there no Registered Maintained for the regular/ Monthly Contribution- Names, Address, etc or is it ghost that Collected and spend the Money?
-What was your intentions of Collecting free Money from Workers Monthly pay, without utilising it ,for the original Purposes?
- Can you see why NLC - and it's other Affiliates, have been part of the Scheme - not to bother themselves on the Workers issues, but Only concerned with their Monthly Dues- now they are threatened by Subsidies Removal, they are now armed against the govt,as if they have been fighting for Justice for the Masses!
Or- is the above Name different from the Original NHF, that government deliberately and fraudulently deducted Money, without Accountabilities for it till date! We won't see Lawyers fighting these accumulated Injustices!
-Same with Pensions of many Retirees today! PENCOM is that another terrible organisation fighting against the will of Workers and trying to Twist the Courts Judgement.
Abuja na Scam and those who did all these atrocities to Nigerians wants to live in peace, abi?
Very Shameful indeed!
etu Nigeria!

Getting this loan is like getting an elephant to pass through the eyes of a needle. After years of contributions you’ll be begging for your money which you’re still going to pay back with interest.

That’s why I so gladly exited the scheme when the option came up recently. Now let us have our contributions back and am fine.

NHF another way of milking Nigeria civil servant of their hard earned money, government shouldn't have made the contribution compulsory or it should have been voluntary. But because of how the people in charge want to siphon money, they put everybody on NHF deduction, wether you consent or not. Nigerians always doing things the wrong way.

Our Retired members are still unable to withdraw their deposit from the fund, the process is cumbersome and manually outdated.

I insists that All the Organizers, should cool themselves in the DSS Office,if the EFCC- can't do the job, because you are Selling Fraudulent Activities, which the Foundations have sunk or trying to be clever by half!
• those who are flaunting these Frauds are robbing it on our faces!
•Can Nigerians, especially those who are Indomie Generation - see why some of us are angry- with the System?
Nonsense!

ATTENTION HON WIKE:
PLEASE,Sir,as the Minister in Charge,Nigerians will remembered you for life,if only you get their entitlements for them,as there are lots of rots in Abuja that, since you are now a Minister, kindly look at them urgently, with intensity:
1•National Housing Funds - up till date Money we no see and Houses,we no get?
2• Nations Pension Fund - especially the Court Judgement against PENCOM - has been frustrated as Millions of Nigeria Retirees-are dying, neglected and no money to take care of their health, because the money the PENCOM gave Retirees-are nothing to write home about! PENCOM house is just sitting on the Nigerian People Money and the govt was even contemplating to borrow it,while those who Contributed it are suffering!
This is not how it's done in a saner Clime of Europe or America!
Very Shameful indeed!

Thanks a lot for your contribution.

As you have rightly confirmed, the National Housing Fund is backed by the law - I am talking about The NHF Act of 1992.

With your experience working in the financial industry, you must know that the Federal Mortgage Bank does not disburse money directly to NHF contributors.

This responsibility is given to PMBs or PMIs (Primary Mortgage Banks/Institutions), and this means that there are specific steps contributors need to take to qualify for the NHF Loan.

You also know very well that for many years since the inception of the Federal Mortgage bank and the NHF, 15 Million Naira was the amount disbursed to people who qualify.

But early this year, the NHF Loan amount was increased to 50 Million Naira.

At H28, we built an online platform to help Nigerians save up their down payment and qualify for the National Housing Fund Loan.
