An ibo woman allowed her daughter to be slept with on her own matrimonial bed. Now the daughter is pregnant. Note this ibo woman allowed and welcome the Daughter Bf in, leading to all these and they are not married. And everything happened in that same house. Now the mother, the daughter and the boy are all living together. I don't usually interfere in people's issue, but this very one caught my attention and I am curious to know if it is something that is allowed in IBO land. Allowing a man to sleep with your daughter on your own matrimonial bed. I know it's a Taboo in Yoruba land. To the Ibos is it not a taboo in your land? Let's discuss, and other tribes too add your opinion. Saturday is here so let's discuss reality. If you have witnessed such also, share yours. I know you will ask where is the father of the daughter? Separated from from the mother and as such leaves else where while still taking care of the bills of the apartment.

This forum is becoming too tribal, most everything be about Yoruba and Ibo?

Personally I know the above mentioned situation is frowned upon anywhere . I know of 3 Yoruba families where their daughters brought in their husbands to her father's house and they are living there full time with kids

In short growing up I use to think it was a Yoruba thing . I am shocked to hear it is frowned upon in the west too

Saturday morning some people are at the gym, some are walking, running.
Others are working, studying or learning but you choose to become useless to yourself and society.

I don't blame the OP this is what happens when you are tribally condemned, plus being Jobless.

Just one incident you saw and you concluded while someone that has seen three (the FTC) never came here to open a useless thread like you.

This has nothing to do with tribe, I'm sure every tribe in Nigeria would consider it disrespectful for a child to have sex on his/her parents matrimonial bed undecided

You are talking about Ibo culture and not IGBO.
Igbos have a great culture on Nigeria but I don't know much about ibos of Tanzania which you are referring
