Since the introduction of cell phones, so many phones have been lost by the owners.

Some were robbed, even got injured while struggling the phone with the robbers

Some misplaced it

Some were stolen

In fact, in many circumstances, things happen and before you know, one's phone is gone.

Has your phone lost before? How did it happen and how did it affect you?

Mine fell from the taxi I boarded and I'm sure the person that sat next to me picked and never returned it. Later, the little 5k that was in my account was wiped away.

Omoh the day I lost my first phone,is like the world will end that day, I cried bitterly because I suffered to buy the phone then, imagine loosing your precious thing

Took a Taxi at Akure futa north or something Gate like that, it probably dropped on the back sit and I dropped off… noticed as soon as I was about calling a bikeman damn

Just less than 3 weeks ago. Got new phone today though cos just decided to take some break.

As for how I lost the phone, my drink was spiked, rest of the story for the other day.

As I dey type like this, na with borrow phone. I don't know how my phone was removed from my pocket, I still can't believe it, I thought stuffs like this only happen in movies, the thing dey do me like magic trick walahi

First: This man was known to my parents. He came on sunday morning when I was fixing our generator. I told him my father was in the church and he asked for my phone to call someone. I gave him my phone and he walked away slowly. I thought he was avoiding the noisy background. Few minutes, I didn't see him. I stepped out of the compound and he has disappeared.

2nd: My phone fell from my pocket inside a taxi. It was when I was home that I found out my phone was missing. I used my Dad's phone to call the number and the taxi driver picked. I asked him to give me his own phone number so I may not lose connection to him incase my phone's battery is low. He called the next day when driving through the same road where he dropped me, I showed up, collected my phone and gave him a little token.

Sorry. It happens

I lost my phone in 2018 while traveling from Jigawa to Kano. I think it slipped from my pocket which was not so deep.

Afterwards it was like I lost a part of myself, I fell into a little depression and grew jealous of people with phones

I can remember one occasion.

On this occasion, I was going back to school and I sat at the front seat. With some of my luggages in front. Getting to the park, I dropped my phone on the bus dashboard in an attempt to pick up my luggages in-between my legs and that's how I forgot it.

I picked up my items and that's how I forgot my phone. On getting to the hostel, I realized that I forgot my phone in the bus.

Started calling with my roommate's phone and after ringing for a while, the phone was switched off and that's how my new Nokia Asha 200 got missing.
