Hello house.

I need help with coming up with business ideas for my parents (late 60s/early 70s).
My mom had a store at the front of the house, where she sold provisions and groceries. Around January she suffered a stroke and some other attendant ailments. Took over 6 months, lotta money, and other efforts to get her back to her feet. Thank God she's better now. Now she's moving unaided and much better and recently has been talking about been tired of just staying indoors and want to resume her business.

Thing is, the whole family's decided she's no longer going to do strenuous work, but I understand her not wanting to just sit at home. She's worked all her life. She needs something doing. We also plan on making our dad stop his business, he needs some thing leisurely and less stressful too.

So house, I'll appreciate business suggestions on what both of them can do together that will be fulfilling yet not stressful. Preferably a business they can run from their veranda or in the compound.

N. B. - Poultry has been ruled out as it smells and there are 2 tenants in the compound. And we won't want to inconvenience them.

Same thing she was doing. Shop in front of the house or let her baby sit her grand children. Take her to your home and settle her with round the clock power and TV. She needs lots of comedy to make her smile her laugh. This would give her up to 12-15 years more full of life.

Thanks for the contribution. TV set up for her. 24hrs light. She knows all the Filipino programs and has favorites now sef. Lol. Grandkds will be going back to school soon. So drama and activities will reduce. She's becoming restless already. I spent today with her and when she thinks I'm not watching she goes looking for chores to do around the house and compound. Honestly I wish she could just sit and watch TV, but that's not who she is and I'm worried about her not doing anything affecting her psychologically.

About going back to the shop, there are several people in that same business and I learnt there's competition and envy. Infact, there's an idea that the illness was from the competition. While I don't actually buy that, it's not a risk worth taking, so the shop will be given out for rent.

If no egg supplier within she can do that,you will help her source for good contacts,they bring to her and she sells.

If no portable water in the area,run pipe to front of the compound let her start selling water.

She can sell just palmoil too, you do the work for her by looking for big time suppliers ,they supply her and she sells wholesale.

YouTube also, Mama can become a YouTuber,if she is not shy teach her how to video and record, when she is cooking and all or talk about life issues, she will be busy and have fans too, and in time money also.

She can learn crotchet just to keep her hands busy,she will love it too.

Start a small creche for her if she loves taking care of children.

Find out what she really loves to do apart from provisions selling.

Open borehole and sell water in the area..... people buying water go keep her busy morning till night
