At which rank of the military can planned a coup? Can any senior officer planned a coup without other senior officer be informed? I doubt that any senior soldier can be successful in it without it been bloody.

Most successful bloodless coup are done by the presidential guard. Any coup outside arm force is likely to be bloody.
