Edo Deputy Gov, Shaibu in cladestine move against govt, Edo people

Only a few days after publicly declaring loyalty to Governor Godwin Obaseki, the embattled Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, is meeting with groups and individuals in Edo North Senatorial District to cause mayhem and disaffection in the State.

The Deputy Governor who is unbridled in his desperation to succeed the governor, is hell-bent on doing all it takes to force the governor to support his ambition.

In all of this, Edo people ask, why is Shaibu so desperate?

Is it not within his constitutional right to contest, why the attack? Let him contest, the governor should support who ever he chooses , and allow Shuaibu to also throw his weight in the ring, if he loses no problem. But telling him he doesn't have the right to contest is the height of tyranny and low self-esteem
