People always say if only the government would provide stable electricity, most of Nigeria's problems will disappear.

I disagree. There will be some economic benefits, but not to the level people expect.

I know a particular part of a city in the SW where it is rare for there not to be electricity. When I was there, there was no noticeable difference in their economic output.

Sebi na who get work need electricity to work.

Also most people can't afford 24hr electricity.

When they say light will improve economic activities it doesn't mean they should now supply light to one remote village in excess for villagers to charge their radio and watch NTA with their box Tv.
The constant light are needed in places like Lagos, Rivers, Ogun state, Delta, Imo and Anambra or Edo state. Give these cities constant light and watch how economic activities improve within few years.
