I'm just thinking out loud.
Money is good, I'm not disputing that fact.
But why does it look like the only language that makes people adore a fellow human is when the person gives out money?

To so many people, once you don't have money, they can never take any advice from you. A rich person, can suddenly become a motivational speaker and everyone will follow.

It seems the only thing that rules the world is having plenty money?
People throw away their happiness, a lover, family, good friends, just to have ONLY money.

A man can publicly be trending for the wrong reasons (Hook up, Yahoo, ritual, fake religious leader, witchcraft etc) but once he's/she's involve in philanthropic services, the society quickly accept him/her as a kind and a good Human.

Does it mean having plenty money and giving it back to the society is the greatest thing?

What's your opinion about this?

What have you or someone done for you aside giving you money, that you appreciate more than money? Pls share

It's only a reflection of the Nigerian system.. That's not how it usually work in a sane and developed world most times.
They think with their senses, they are well educated and informed, alot of them understand God and the essence of Life, which majority of us don't do in the part of the world.

Most Nigerians aren't that informed, could be due to the fact that we have a kinda backwarded mentality, which is why we envy ourselves and even attack progress, thereby making it compulsory for ppl to worship whoever struggles to make it by force. it's everywhere but too common in Nigeria.

It's rooted in our mentality.

Money and true love run the world smoothly. If we cherish genuine love, we are well informed and fear God, then money wouldn't be much priority in our midst, as attentions would be properly channeled to others things that even money needs to make our society function well, which is Love and the dear of God.

Perhaps this only happens in Nigeria, where poverty is the order of the day.

I often think that if I became as wealthy as Bill Gates, I would be such a cheerful, gentle, and kind person. When I have enough money, things go smoothly, and my interactions with others become pleasant, everything becomes clear and bright

It happens everywhere, but Nigerians are the masters of the art of the showoff and the loud talk. They talk about common things a if they are special. It's like a celebration of mediocrity. Perhaps it is due to poverty. Otherwise why would a person driving/owning a car feel accomplished because they drive/own a car, and use it as a yardstick to belittle others, as seen frequently on the forum. "I am comfortable" indeed.

Notably, other nations of poor people tend to celebrate such things. They constantly need to measure.

That said, money doesn't bring happiness. And you're going to want happiness in life.
