I just recently purchased a used tokunbo engine and on mounting it, we came to realise it wasn't reving past 400 and even stalls when moving. I have tried replacing some suspected parts from my old engine but to no success. I concluded on taking it to my electrician to look it up but after a month with the car, same old stories. I decided to seek general help from any brother that can help out. I will be very appreciative if i can get all the help because of the love i have for the car due to it's fuel economy and ease of maintenance. |

Sorry about the ordeal. kindly provide more information about this vehicle, model year and specifically what parts did you swap out and didn't have any effect? |

Stalling Lack of fuel. Dirtyplugs, water inside plugs....expired plugs that are not firing. And of cos bad ad fake fuel pump...dirty nozzles..dirty fuel pump filter. |

A nissan almera 2000 n16 with qg15de engine. I have swapped all swapables i.e ecu, throttle body, plugs, cam and crankshaft sensor, kickstarter etc. |

doublex10: Scan vehicle first, the only issue is if your car was converted and bad job done, nah guess work remain ooo  also your symptoms sounds like a wrong timing chain position.But let the technician check the air, fuel and spark condition. Also did you program the ECU after swap? If you are good with diy drop a mail make I send you the Haynes manual, had it when I was flogging one years ago |

My email is atijjani78@gmail.com I am the diy type but this particular time, i had to let the pros fish out the problem but sincerely, i usually do stuffs most times. I have scanned with my scanners because i also sell to some customers. There is no code displayed hence i would have done the job myself. |
