FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!

We shall never forget the sad event that occurred at Nkwọ Enugwu-Ukwu on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
On that day, I was returning from Nnewi Diocesan Synod and as if it was a movie, bullets started raining from all angles and sadly, two of my Aides; Ikechukwu Odum and Goodnews Matthias as well as two of the security personnel attached to me; Inspector David Jimoh and Sergeant Bello Lawan paid the ultimate price. It was a horrifying experience that will forever be etched in our memories. The peaceful atmosphere suddenly turned into chaos and despair.
The loss of lives, including my dedicated aides and security personnel, is a tragedy that words cannot fully express.

Odum Ikechukwu and Goodnews Matthias were not just my aides; they were loyal and committed individuals who served with utmost dedication. Their untimely demise is a great loss not only to me but also to their families, friends, and the community they belonged to.
Their selflessness and unwavering support will always be remembered.
The security personnel who lost their lives while protecting us also deserve our utmost respect and gratitude. They put their lives on the line to ensure our safety, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Their families have been left devastated, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them during this difficult time.

This tragic event serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the unpredictable nature of the world we live in. It is a reminder that violence can strike at any moment, even in the most unexpected places.
We must remain vigilant and united in our efforts to promote peace and security in our communities.

As we mourn the loss of our dear ones, let us also remember to cherish the memories we shared with them. Let us honour their lives by continuing the work they started and striving for a better and safer society.
May the souls of Ikechukwu Odum, Goodnews Matthias, Inspector David Jimoh, and Sergeant Bello Lawan rest in eternal peace, and may their families find solace and strength in this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON
Anambra South Senatorial District
September 11, 2023.

Senator Ifeanyi this is a nice epistle honoring those who fell for being attached to you. May their souls rest in peace.
However you failed to talk about the perpetrators of the evil. I mean the killers. You know who they are but refused to mention them.

Some were caught, and the police are still searching for others.

11-09-22; A Dark Day Indeed!

This September 11 makes it 22 years since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre and Pentagon, an event that 60% of those surveyed in a USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll said changed Americans’ lives forever.

On the same date last year (September 11, 2022), the enemies of humanity made an attempt on the life of one of the biggest philanthropists in Nigeria cum human-capital development expert East of the Niger, in the person of Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (CON).

The evil plot that saw these agents of darkness descend on the convoy of the Good Senator at Nkwo, Enugu-Ukwu with sprays of hot leads accompanied by staccato sounds of automatic gunfire was well orchestrated to ambush and snuff life out of the widely loved grassroot general, leader and founder of the Ubahnation Movement.

His offence was having a well-coordinated vision with a delivery style that seeks to enthrone a new political order which prioritizes the masses. One that ensures the delivery of dividends of democracy using a simplified open-door policy style devoid of ambiguity. One that directly addresses the people's concerns and seeks to make lives easier.

He terms it the Gosimkamfunanya Political School of Thought.

Yes, mercy said no and this sad attempt failed to achieve its primary purpose.

However, the less-than-10 minutes-attack left in its wake tears and sorrows as it snuffed life out of several people including two boisterous former colleagues of mine who were full of energy, vision and dedication to the course of driving the humanity-first passion of our leader and principal.

Ikechukwu Odum and Goodnews Mathias had their lives cut short in their prime by those daredevils, some of whom have now gone to join them in the great beyond, while the hunt for the rest continues.

The Ubahnation family will never forget the strides and memories of these young men. We shall continue to remember them in our prayers while making every effort to ensure that the loved ones they left behind are well taken care of.

Rest on Messrs Ikechukwu Odum, Goodnews Mathias, Inspector David Jimoh and Sergeant Bello Lawan.

We have you in our prayers always.

Ubahnation family remembers.

Ubahnation family MOURNS.
