I noticed Niger coup tension has been reduced and no one is even talking about it again. Not Ecowas, Not AU, Not France. What happened?

Because the world has moved on and is not really bothered or threatened by a coup which the citizens of the affected countries have welcomed wholeheartedly. Except France that stands to lose in which they're fighting tooth and nail to ensure their grip on Niger stays tight.

what do you expect from some one who got his way illegally into the presidency and was now made the head of ECOWAS and most ECOWAS member knows their current chairman did not win his presidential bid through the right channel. Tinubu has not say in ECOWAS. he was just a noise maker

Emilokan Tinubu is currently discussing investments and business with world powers gathered in India, when he returned to Nigeria, he will review situations in West Africa including the 4 West African nations currently lead by rogue soldier ants

The Jagaban is currently discussing business and investment with world leaders, lazy youths like you are still wasting their lives away

Niger military deploys forces at Beninese border against ECOWAS invasion
Big Stories Now

A video has emerged indicating that the Niger republic’s coupists have started deploying military along its border with neighbouring country, Benin, amidst imminent military intervention by the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS.

The development was disclosed by a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama. DAILY POST reported that ECOWAS had threatened a possible military action against the junta who seized power in Niger and suspended the constitution.

Last month, ECOWAS ordered its standby force to restore constitutional order in the Republic of Niger. The order followed the resolution of ECOWAS on the Niger coup after its extraordinary meeting in Abuja. However, the regional bloc’s army is yet to invade Niger.

Makama on his social media platform X, on Monday, posted a video that showed Niger’s military were deploying at Beninese border in preparation against the military intervention by the ECOWAS. “Niger deploys Military to the Niger- Beninese Border amidst eminent Military intervention plans of ECOWAS,” he wrote.

DAILY POST sighted the video showing movement of military vehicles in a convoy as they were being hailed by the people.

hopeless youths won't still reason when a leader listens to the plight of his people and constituted authorities like the senate.
When the idea of 8k palliative came and people kicked against it, PBAT succumbed to the will of the masses, when the issue in Niger came and the people of Nigeria and the senate kicked against him,PBAT succumbed.yet the sour life children won't commend the president for subjecting himself to the will of the people.
For once again we have a listening and hardworking president, may God see him through and put nigeria on course again.

The world knows Tinubu is an illegitimate president but there's nothing they can do Cos folks like you are bent on promoting corruption and impunity cos of blind tribal sentiments.

This is not true. I may align myself with the views of those who think the world has moved on as those directly ruled adhere to the system.

Truth is, we can not cry more than the bereaved. Whatever ECOWAS or AU could stand to do was merely persuasive. Cohesion was not an option. For instance, Democracy is a system of government among others. Although it is more popular but that does not mean it should be superimposed on the populace.

If the people of Niger had tested democracy but felt it was a monarchical democracy, that is to say, recycling same leaders from a family circle, and the military took over and they feel they like it, then let them be.

As a country, they are independent. Nigeria or Ecowas was just a pressure group. Take a queue from Russia and Ukrain war. Have you seen any deployment of any military personnel from America or Europe? No, they only send in their technology not troops to test their AI martial competence while the Ukrainians die.

The world have moved on but the concerns are still intact.

who told you that PBAt abi EbolaBAt had succumbed to the Senate against Niger abi he busy issuing new threats amidst the crisis not until it became obvious that his threats were empty considering the grave consequences or possibly a death threat from the European allies of Niger which he could have incurred on himself if he had tried Such nonsense.

It's okay to soft pedal.. the latest coup in another former French colony might have prompted ECOWAS to retreat and torchlight the activities of France in West Africa.

This is why Nigeria has to rise to the occasion as giant of Africa so Africans no matter the country of origin can have true sense of independence.

There are some messages the Niger coupists passed across to PBAT through the ECOWAS special enjoys that visited Niamey.. reason they are keeping the information secret is what we don't know.
