not relevant here unfortunately. I was not in Nigeria during election. I had no candidates...if anything, I probably hoped Atiku would win, cos of my interest in PDP. Was pleasantly surprised that Obi had a strong showing.
However, Tinubu is now president. Locking Igbo's mouth with chain will not help him succeed or fail, so it's irrelevant.

Zik was a great premier of Eastern region. Built the first indigenous university in the country. Set up basic infrastructure around the region, all within just 4 years. Before he then became speaker of the house of representatives, Senate president and later governor General. He still suffered a coup even as a powerless head of state.

Ironsi was a man who stopped the country from falling into the hands of young charlatans like Kaduna Nzeogwu and Ademoyega etc. He united the country and was providing able leadership to return the country to democracy by consultation.
He still suffered a coup in ibadan and died.

Ekwueme was said to be the best Vice president Nigeria ever had. Educated, not corrupt, a potential president. He still suffered a coup and spent years in prison.

Maybe Tinubu will be rewarded if he wastes his time dragging igbos instead of delivering his developmental agenda
