This celebration epitomizes the rich cultural heritage of the Bakor People and marks the beginning of a new agrarian season - a season filled with hope, prosperity, and unity.

As a true son of Ogoja, I am deeply committed to preserving our cherished traditions and fostering development within our community because our bedrock of identity as indigenes of Ogoja is in our rich cultural heritage and this, we must continue to preserve and promote.
