I so much agree with El-Rufai on this! Obasanjo's second tenure was the most prosperous term. That was when our musical artists started making waves due to the policy which allows high percentage of Nigeria content to be played in radio stations across the country. The time also recorded made in Nigeria juice as the govt banned importations of fruits juice. Coca-Cola started producing 5 alive here in Nigeria and other companies follow suit. Nigeria entertainment industry especially standup comedy industry started booming. Infact, most of the standup comedian hit their fame during Obasanjo. Stand up comedy isn't longer what it was use to be nowadays. Nigeria air carrier too , Virgin Nigeria was well operated. Obasanjo's economics achievement begins to fall during Jonathan and scattered during Buhari

There is nothing wrong with the economy. The problem of Nigeria is purely political. The political is the one leading to the bad economy. The greed of the northerners to rule by force is all about it. If you like close your eyes to the truth, it is your own problem. Maybe you are even one of the them who wish to continue the evil trend. Given each region to manage their resources, poverty will suddenly disappear.
