1. Start a business, you say you don't have capital.
Ans: Can you start a viable business without capital... Many graduates have viable business but no capital.... you can only blame them for failing after providing capital...

2. They say get a job, you say there are no jobs.
Ans: Where are the jobs, did you provide jobs for the graduates and they refused to take or do it... if what you call job is Street cleaners or office cleaners for graduates, I'm sorry you did not provide job or solutions...

3. They say do this particular job, you say how can a whole graduate like me be doing that 'kian' job
Ans: What is this kin job you referred to... i hope it's not no 2 above, like office cleaners, gutter sweepers or 6k primary class teacher...

4. They say volunteer, you say who volunteer epp.
Ans: Most graduate will volunteer to a job with prospect, a job with experience, a job that contribute to his or her growth... Most graduate will not volunteer to slavery once the hear past experience of previous volunteers...

5. They say invest, you say investment nah scam.
Ans: INVEST, I am tempted to ask with what... An unemployed graduate is looking for some one to invest in him not the other way round...

6. They say travel, you say this one wey accident and kidnapping dey happen up and down, daily.
Ans: A graduate will travel where there is a good prospect of landing a job, most graduate now make research before entering any road for any kind of interview... an unemployed graduate borrows 50k. Travels from Imo state to lagos for interview... Go n Come, 50k. Is gone... no response you think if that kind of offer comes again, he would go...

7. They say attend a conference, you say wetin dem wan teach you wey you neva hear before.
Ans: I advice unemployed graduates to attend conferences holding around their jurisdiction and those extremely important holding outside their jurisdiction... don't waste scarce resources on meaningless conferences...

8.They say Nigeria will be better, you say this country wey don "dabaru finish" with corruption.
Ans: All this dem say dem say... unemployed graduate should do what they need to do to make it and survive and forget dem say dem say...

9. They say Paul just bought a new property, you say forget that thing, you know how he started.
Ans: Yes, we know Paul that earns 40k monthly yet bought 2 cars... and built a house... kindly come and explain it to us...
We all know Sarah that earns 30k a month but uses I Phone 22 pro max, she moved into a 2 bedroom flat of 1.5m a year, and she is already building her own house... kindly come and explain...

10. They say Amaka just got married, you say "tah" forget that thing, is marriage an achievement?
Ans: Amaka will not marry an unemployed graduate and Paul who is unemployed will not marry unemployed amaka too... and if dem try am, dem no de tell pesin...

(Shebi you see how negativity has finished you?)

This is not negativity, thus is reality and in reality, difficult choices must be made... Advising people to look at Paul that just built house without telling us how he made his money or teaching us how to make such money is wrong...
Most I say most people do a lot of despicable things to survive this days... Most people earn their money through cutting corners...

(As soon as a good thing wants to come to your life, you wave your flag of negativity and it flees.)

If positive things wants to come let it come inform of good job, good business opportunities, good investment opportunities, good connections and network...

Not through Paul that earns 40k and is building 3 estate...
Or Sarah earning 30k using I Phone 22...

My take...

As a graduate, don't be lazy, do what you need to do.. and pray simple...

It just like those who already have money telling those who don’t have “money doesn’t give happiness”

Resource are always scarce. It can not always be enough to go round all at once
Because one is lucky to break free from little input which got you a fast output doesn’t mean others were not doing the same thing you did.

Everyone can’t get what they want all at the same time.

Every graduate in Nigeria with not rich family or awaiting job was once in that “who says” category. It just one thing that will push the drive for them and that’s it.
