The just-concluded Women's World Cup brought Nigeria's women's football into the spotlight. It was a remarkable journey as the female Super Falcons showcased their talent and resilience on the world stage, inspiring a new generation of female footballers in Nigeria.

I believe that this momentum should be leveraged to elevate women's football even further in our country. Perhaps football clinics could be organised to train young girls in football; I recall one such football training was held in May in Abeokuta by QNET in partnership with Manchester City to train young men in football. These are the initiatives that can help ignite the passion in youths to pursue their dreams.
