Police Officer South London Charged For Murder

The Crown Prosecution Service reported that a police officer has been charged with murder in connection with the killing of Chris Kaba in south London in September of last year.

Mr. Kaba, a 24-year-old expectant father, was shot once in the head on September 5, 2022, in Streatham by a weapons officer after being boxed in by officers tailing him through Kirkstall Gardens. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) investigation led to the murder charge.
