Jamie Vardy: Leicester's Decade Of Ups And Downs by Ashleyokeneye(f): 3:57pm On Sep 22, 2023
Jamie Richard Vardy is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for and captains EFL Championship club Leicester City. After being released by Sheffield Wednesday at the age of 16, Vardy began his senior career with Stocksbridge Park Steels. Jamie Vardy talks through his rollercoaster 10 years with Leicester that saw a Premier League title, a relegation and some 'questionable' haircuts.
When Leicester City signed Jamie Vardy from Fleetwood for what was, and still is, a record £1m for a non-league player, nobody would've predicted the following decade he and the club would endure. However, it wasn't always goals, records and trophies for the Leicester number nine. Ten years ago, Vardy was on the wrong end of one of the most extraordinary endings to a football match, the infamous 'Troy Deeney' goal in the play-off semi-finals against Watford. Starting that game on the bench alongside a recognizable face.

Among the downs that have come during his Leicester career, the loss to Watford was an early one for Vardy. But for him it epitomizes his time with the club, using setbacks as inspiration. "That game gave us the motivation to want to succeed the season afterwards," he recalls. "I remember coming back the following pre-season, you do the testing and if you're not fit enough, you don't see the footballs for a week. Every single one of us came back fit as they could, so we were ready to go." Haircuts seemed to signify key moments in Vardy's career, with his first trophy with the club being one of those occasions.

Despite not playing as many minutes as he once did for the Foxes, Vardy is still keen to make an impact both on and off the pitch. With a flurry of young players breaking through and joining on loan, he feels it is important to be there to influence the younger players in the side. 'All that side is important, I'm always there to chat to the young ones'," he says. "It's how you act around the place, that's what's important. Be normal with everyone. I'm not going to be a big head round the place. I'm just me." Currently second in the Championship table, Vardy will be looking to do his bit to add another chapter to this extraordinary decade with the Foxes this season.

They are still far better than Chelsea this days, Chelsea was the only club that spoil my weekend ticket. If I knew I would have cashout my money from iLOTBet before the Chelsea match, 87K gone like that. anyway thanks to iLOT BET for the 50% cash back of my stake

I was introduced to iLOTBet by an office colleague of mine who was constantly on the website. One day i asked him why he was always on iLOTBet and he told me about one punter`s league competition where the winners will be given an iPhone. So i decided to open an account too and try my luck.
Even though none of us won at the end of the competition, I continued betting with them. I was making deposits and withdrawals without any issues until August this year.
The problem started when i received an alert from iLOT bet when i did not make any withdrawal. I login into my account and my balance was intact. I kept the money and after two days, my colleague came to me and asked me if i received any payment from iLotbet, I could have told him no but since i wanted to be honest, I said yes. Then he told me that payment is the withdrawal he made from his iLOTBet account that landed in my bank account. I did not believe him until he showed me the withdrawal request on his account transfers. He also showed me the emails he wrote to iLOT when he did not receive the withdraw he made and the replies from iLOT saying they have paid. iLOTBet demanded that he produce his statement of account when he insisted that he has not received the alert and afterward, they decided to query their system and discovered that the money has landed in another punter`s account which is mine. Myself and my colleague have complete different names, he has made several withdrawals in the past and his bank is Gtbank while mine is Zenith. So how did this miss-up happened?
The following day i decided to make a withdrawal request and it reverted back to my iLot account. After several trials without success, I wrote to them explaining how someone else withdrawal landed in my account. They replied and said my account is linking another account and i have two accounts. Eventually, they deactivated my account with my fund of N66,741 inside but nothing happened to my colleagues account who decided to close his account by himself after removing all his money. iLot decided to punish me for admitting that i received an alert of another customer withdrawal in my bank account when in actual sense, the fault is from them.
I have being writing to iLot bet since then and they kept telling me they are still investigating. This is the second month now and iLot is still investigating. Pls i need advice on what to do to remove my money from iLot.

What reasons could make a club lost a match? Manchester City was beating 1:0 that means the match was tough for them.
This was the first match they have played without scoring a single goal.

I was to win a ticket of 2700 naira on iLOTBet bet they spoil the game for me for just away to score at less 1 goal

I have paid so much money for fixed games to bet and at the end of the matches the ticket cuts by 2 or 3 clubs, after all that I quitted playing sports betting until my friend refer me to iLOTBET WHOT Games which I started playing with friends, and my wife for free. After mastering the skill to win like my friend with the free Whot I deposited just 1000 naira and use it to play, my first stake was 300 naira which I lost to my opponent I was very angry to loss that I decided to win the next round by all means which I did win. I love playing it because I don't just make money from it but also enjoy the FUN FUN FUN playing the WHOT GAMES.
