The topic is presented as a question. So, what do you mean when you say you are on the opposing side?

Do you mean you are to say that education cannot solve the problem?

Or, do you mean you are to say that education can solve the problem?

Good! Education aided the creation of the problem. Subsidy removal would not have been possible without the help of educated people who are economists and financial experts. Those who mismanage public funds are educated. Education cannot be the solution since lack of education is not responsible for the problem.

Diligence towards morale obligations is the solution. If the government is prudent and incorruptible in managing the economy of the nation and the masses are absolutely law-abiding, the problem of subsidy will be solved.

When the citizens are absolutely law-abiding, oil theft will stop. When the government is incorruptible in managing the economy of the nation, embezzlement of the money budgeted for fuel will stop, Nigeria will get public (not private) refineries and fuel price will significantly reduce.

You also need to research on the reason the government gave when it began to pay subsidy and the reason the same government gave when it removed the subsidy. Try to understand those reasons and critique them. It is also necessary for you to get some statistics on how much the government spent on subsidy and how much the government has saved after the removal of the subsidy and how the whole thing has affected the economy. This is necessary because economists and financial experts work with statistics. When you get the statistics, you will use it to prove that education cannot solve the problem. If education is the solution, there wouldn't have been a problem at all because those who use the statistics to make those policies are educated. The conclusion is that Nigeria already has enough education required to solve the economic problems we are facing in the country. What is lacking is ethical mindset for the right application of the education.
