As to what killed my zeal...I would say, God just changed my heart. And the system is messed up and so evil and corrupt. So I grew to really understand that greed and corrupti was taken place in 9ja politics. When I was younger, I didn't really know they stole that much, and lived above their means. Even tho as a younger child I heard cases of Tafa balogun and them Patricia Etteh in trouble with the efcc...I still didn't think it was that widespread and deep-seated in our goverme circles. Even civil servants, perm secs...I just gave up.
Not like I'm the holiest in the room oh, but I just can't stand their hypocrisy , corruption and then the way they show off with it, neglecting their duties to the masses.
