Igbo is one of the most travelled ethnic groups in Nigeria and no doubt about that.
They got to Spain and they found out that Spanish and Portuguese are similar languages they recognize their unique identity.
They also found this in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. They recognize the unique identities of these people despite the similarities in their spoken languages. This is the same with Ukraine and Poland, Malaysia and Indonesia. They recognize the difference between Itsekiri and the Yorubas and that of Isoko and Urhobo. They do all these but won't allow the average Ikwerre man rest with their claims due to some words that are common in both languages.
