Prior to the start of the 2023–24 NPFL season this Saturday, the Supporters Club of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan held its annual preseason prayers on Thursday.

During the event, the Supporters Club expressed their appreciation for the efforts and contributions of these individuals towards the success of the team. They presented them with plaques and commended their dedication and commitment.

In his remarks, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro thanked the Supporters Club for their unwavering support and promised to do everything possible to ensure the team's success in the upcoming season. He also urged the players to give their best and make the supporters proud.

Dimeji Lawal, the Acting General Manager cum Team Manager, expressed his gratitude to the Supporters Club for their continuous support and encouragement. He assured them that the team is well-prepared for the season and will strive to achieve their goals.

Gbenga Ogunbote, the Technical Adviser, also thanked the Supporters Club for their prayers and support. He emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving success and urged the players to work together towards a common goal.

Honourable Gbenga Adewusi Arole and Niyi Alebiosu, who were also honored during the event, expressed their appreciation for the recognition and pledged their continued support for the team.

The pre-season prayers ended with a closing remark from the chairman of the Supporters Club, who encouraged the fans to continue supporting the team and attending matches. He expressed optimism for a successful season and urged everyone to remain united in their support for the Shooting Stars Sports Club.
