With this step, we can all see how Dangote have contributed immensely to the hardship in Nigeria. If Bua reduced their price, he'll be forced to lower his to probably N3,400. When Bua finally lower their price to the N2,700 promised. Dangote may be forced to abandon ship. Same strategy should be put into sugar prices and others |

pocom16: In days past, when I still engaged idi0ts and nitwits like yourself, I would've obliged you. But those days are way past now. I know your parents failed to raise you right, but you can still mitigate some of your behavioral deficiencies as an adult person(assuming you're one). I may yet take you on in loco parentis, seeing as yours fatally failed you. Grow some manners and thank me for advising you. |

If its 3500 from the factory, how much will it cost at the markets is the problem cos all other cost would be borne by the buyer I.e. the distributors. |

It is evident that the current cement price is a scam powered by MONOPOLY. |
Re: BUA Reduces The Price Of Cement To ₦3,500 Per Bag, Promises Further Reduction by sweetgala(m): 8:44am On Oct 02, 2023 |
Wujio: There is no such monopoly there are at least 4 major cement manufacturers in Nigeria with BUA and Dangote sharing about 55-70% of the market. People confuse competition to monopoly, if it was such a profitable business others would invest into it and undercut the current players but the fact is it's not, it requires major capital, a long-term business plan and guts. Dangote is putting his fortune at risk daily , that refinery could have ruined him totally putting over 7billion of his own money into a refinery while there is a dollar/naira fluctuations he also lost over 2billion of his wealth to the naira devaluation and you're here talking of monopoly. There are people who have stollen from the national treasury who are hiding the money in Bahamas and Switzerland buying private jets and property in Dubai and UK, creating employment and wealth for young europeans. |
