If two people decide to come together and knack, knowing the consequence is a child, is the child supposed to take the blame?

I have kids and I know they deserve the support and care not because I want them to honor or take care of me but because I ask them to come and I have to be accountable for their well-being whether they honor me or not.

I called them, did I give them an agreement to them to sign about how we are going to live the contract, telling them what is expected them before I can do my own part, so at least they decide if they want to come or not?
