Financial Literacy, in simple terms, is the ability to make, manage and multiply money. This skill is vital because it equips individuals with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions, manage resources effectively, and plan for a secure future.

A week ago, I had the privilege of attending FinGreen's phase 2 graduation ceremony at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja. FinGreen is QNET’s signature financial literacy program. This event celebrated the successful completion of the phase 2 program, which focused on teaching financial literacy to young people in various communities.

During the ceremony, I watched as 25 dedicated participants were awarded certificates for their hard work. The second phase of FinGreen has trained over 750 youths. Outstanding participants received plaques and seed prizes, while the top three participants were awarded seed prizes, up to one million naira, to encourage them to apply the financial literacy skills they had learned.

Thank you, QNET, for paying it forward, and congratulations to all beneficiaries.
