I like to try new foods. I have always wanted to try African food, but i notice most people from francophone countries use these things called maggi cubes.

They are basically little cubes of poison with high sodium content that make food taste better.

Why do I say poison?

They contain manufactured, monosodium glutamate, which is not natural because it is l-glutamate instead of naturally found d-glutamate.

They are high in iodine, which while necessary, is poisonous.

Does nigerian food use these?
