I personally do not believe in the Ife story. The Igbos shared more ancestors with Efik/Ibibio, Bini , Igala and just recently Eastern Yoruboid groups that settled in today's Ugbodu (Which is insignificant). There is no way Ile-Ife could be part of Igbo ancestry. They never even met to start with.

No doubt, Alaafin failed miserably in areas of pushing Yoruba interests forward but I will give him a tiny pass because of what happened to his father for standing up for Yoruba culture. Sijuade was even worse especially on Abiola but none has their nude pictures outside and full of scandals like this Ooni Adewusi, a living, breathing disaster and shame. How many credits has he given to igbos alone? What is his business with them? This Ooni is always in one scandal or another.
