Sunday Igboho Regains Freedom In Benin After Two Years by wealthyprince(m): 1:39am On Oct 09, 2023
Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has regained his freedom from the Beninese authorities.
He said on Sunday “I am now free to return to Nigeria and visit any country in the world. I have fulfilled all the legal conditions attached to my bail a few years back and I am coming home to Nigeria, my country of origin, any moment from now.

“I can confirm to you that I am now free to come back to Nigeria. There is no legal encumbrance again. Even though I have been living in Cotonou for some time, I can confirm to you categorically that I have now secured the liberty to leave Cotonou for Nigeria,” Adeyemo told the Nigerian Tribune on Sunday.

He regained freedom after two years of trial by the Beninese government.

Congratulations to Sunday Igboho.

On the otherhand S’Court fixes December 15 for Judgment in Nnamdi Kanu’s case. Will he be freed?

Congrats to him.
In the case of Kanu, Nigeria is not Benin Republic. They are not imprisoned for same offences. If Igboho come back to Nigeria, the state may pick a case against him.

That Kanu would be released is not certain. What if he goes back to what he was doing to Buhari? The court will be adjourning his case as an unrepentant offender. This is Nigeria. Who doesn't know that the hand of Nigerian's government is in Igboho' s case? He can be freed for two reasons: Yoruba race has close affinity with Benin Republic, and two, the president of Nigeria now is a yoruba man. The government would be playing politics with him.
Moreso, Tinubu does not seem to have any soft spot for igbos for their role in the last election and certificate saga.
However, this is my own opinion not his.
