In the last general elections, PBAT barely won 50% of votes in any Yoruba state compared to Obi’s over 80% in Igbo states. Obi got way more votes in Yoruba states than Tinubu got in Igbo states

Since the elections, a number of notable Yoruba people have remained in the Obidient camp and have even been more vocal against PBAT than most Igbos. Notable among them are Dele Farotimi, Rinu Oduala and even a Yoruba nationalist group, Afenifere. Even Prof Wole Sonyinka was once in support until he was attacked.

Even in the elections, Obi got more votes from Yorubas than he did from the north.

However, in the characteristic tribal nature of the Igbos, they did not attack the north that did not vote for their candidate, neither have they acknowledged the Yorubas that have continued to support Obi against all odds but they have decided to cast aspersions on the entire Yoruba race. They keep making enemies of people that stood for them right from after the civil war when there was no where they could go outside their region. Not only did Yorubas encourage them to return, it’s on record that only the Yorubas returned the properties they owned outside Biafra to them.

We are watching. Let’s see how your next candidate for the presidency fares in Yorubaland because we will never forget

You are talking about the same Igbos who voted for a Yoruba man called Obasanjo even though Ojukwu ran as well?

Igbos have been voting for none Igbos since 1999. But in this 2023 that they chose to massively come out for one of their own, they suddenly become tribalistic?

Jokers everywhere

With random proximate analysis, carefully counter his post logically by posting figures of votes gotten by BAT and Obi in both South East and South west respectively and conclude on where tribalism largely lies between both tribes

No be everything be personal attack

The Politics of Self Annihilation was a Political ideology Championed by Ojukwu

It is the Politics of destroying your own People and Homeland for your own Selfish Personal Political Gain

Ipob are still in the Politics of Self Annihilation that Ojukwu invented

APC has destroyed this country in the last 8 years. Any sain Nigerian will not vote the party again.

If Osinbajo had contested as president in a new party along side Obi, the igbos, middle belt vote would have been shared. Not even considering a Muslim Muslim ticket.

Una don win elections. Move on and stop the blame game. Dollar is 1k now. Use this energy to hold your candidate responsible. If he does well and Nigeria is restored, he won't need to campaign for second term. And opposition won't stand a chance irrespective of region.

Igbos voted Obansanjo massively. Then they were not bigot abi.

Congratulations, you've won election. Move on and allow people that lost wail. I am obedient and not apologetic.

Let us continue to explain things to them gently may be they will Understand better

Ok

same way you voted for peter obi is the same way others voted for Tinubu and Atiku

peter obi failed to get 25 % in any sharia Muslim states so that alone is already 12 states lost .
(Almost one third of the Federation's states already)

plus the 5 SW states where he failed to get 25 % that is already 17 states lost where he didn't get the mandatory 25% National Spread In Two Thirds of the Federation .

We haven't yet added Kogi ,Kwara and others o !
peter obi lost!!

Even if you want to very stubbornly argue that the 5 SW states results were rigged and exclude them
( But in that case the APC will also argue for the SE results to be excluded too for the very same reason)

Then include only the 12 sharia Muslim states where peter obi failed to get 25% and add Kwara and Kogi State too
That is already a total of 14 states,
peter obi could not afford to have 25% in less than 24 states without loosing

peter obi still lost the Elections!!!!!

And the Last Election was far far better than the ones that brought Obasanjo and Yaradua to Power!!

These people will attack Igbos, and then turn around and point the same fingers at Igbos. Sukkot opened a thread praising Tinubu, some folks here countered him. The same Sukkot had to smuggled in Igbos, as the usual soft target, he was rebuked for his bigotry's. He opened another thread attacking Igbos fully, yet nobody cried blood. Tell me what this bloody hypocrite is looking for if not the same objective spelt out for them in their whatsapp group. Always attack Igbos. Bloody cowards that can run a simple modern economy.

You guys should get a job and quit this very annoying Igbo obsession alone.

Igbos voted for Obasanjo only because Yorubas didn't generally want him and preferred Falae and the fact that instead of to waste their vote like they chose to do with Obi. Unlike Ojukwu who obviously Peter Obi is greater than today in their mind. They chose Obasanjo, because the Igbos of that time have some political sense of a choice that will most definitely win because he was the choice of the North.
