Did the jews "thrive" during the holocaust as well? Where was this "love of God" then and what makes you think it is here now?

Well my friend, it’s good u agree with the first phase of my write up. I dare say however that your own understanding ends in that first phase. I go a bit further in my knowledge and it’s not superstition. Somebody put us here... somebody put all these things u see and even perceive here.
You think maybe believe in this person is foolishness or weakness probably because you see that things are screwed up. But there is logical explanation to why things are the way they are. You most probably haven’t heard this logic. In fact I am very convinced and relaxed that this person people have come to refer to as God is in perfect control. His agenda are being met even in the most of the chaos everywhere.

The real Christians are doing God's will today throughout the earth by uniting people using God's word {Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3} while Satan's agents are paying their allegiance to politics! Revelations 9:20-21

Israel is CURSED!
That nation condemned God's Son and said whatever curse will come through shedding of his innocent blood should be upon them and their children from generation to generation! Matthew 27:25
So only few among them that believe will be saved but as for that nation as a whole they've been condemned! Matthew 21:43; 23:37-38

The one sent to bring peace upon the earth is called the "Prince of Peace" {Isaiah 9:6} with the movement he commissioned in the first century {Matthew 28:19-20 compare to Act 1:8} faithful people throughout the earth today are peacefully resolving all their disparities among themselves, they have diverted their resources into production of food and information materials, erased the making, buying, selling and usage of weapons and vowed never to raise weapons against anyone again! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

So when the Son of God who is the Prince of Peace returns he is coming to exterminate all opposers of his peacemaking group {Luke 19:27} he will destroy all those who refused to trust (believe) in his wise counsel! Psalms 37:7-11 compare to John 3:16

U are still like a Dinasaur. Never ready to bring in New knowledge. Israel that doesn’t even know Jesus.. Israel of today that can’t trace back their lineage like the old Israel. Your problem is that you follow pastors more than bible and you do not know that all those promises and prophesies that must come to fulfillment are tied around the new Israel of God which is spiritual, not this one. That new Israel like it’s King Jesus do not take up physical weapons to fight physical wars. The new Israel so not behave like this one that though have a number of Christians in it bomb other Christians that are supposed to be it’s brothers in Palestine.

Actually there are 1.6% christians in Israel and 6% Christians in the Palestines.
Also homosexuality is very legal in Israel and not in Palestines.
