In a horrifying turn of events, a 21-year-old man in Ekangala, Gauteng, has left his community stunned as he confessed to the gruesome murder of his father, 59-year-old Charlie Mthimunye. The shocking incident took place in their own home in Ekangala section B, and the details of the crime are nothing short of nightmarish.

When the suspect surrendered himself to the police, he revealed a macabre scene that defies comprehension. Charlie Mthimunye's lifeless body was discovered mutilated, with his private parts severed and chillingly placed in a mug. His ears were scattered on the floor, and his throat and chest had been ruthlessly cut open to his abdomen.

A knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found beside the victim's remains. The suspect has already made an appearance in the Bronkhorstspruit magistrate court, facing murder charges, and has been remanded in custody pending further investigations.
