A state that hardly enjoy 2hours light in 2-3month?

Do Ogun state have the resources to fix the road? That road will not be fixed in a decade to come if left for Ogun state to reconstruct. So many roads that are responsibility of the state are unmotorable

the state doesn't need to spend kobo, all the governor will do is to make PPP and it is done.

The Federal government should just float a publicly owned infrastructural development enterprise with a minority stake for itself, start with a couple of very lucrative, revenue earning 'rehabilitate and operate' highways and attract investment with a good balance sheet. It can then gradually transfer all its 'assets' one at a time as the enterprise grows to operate all the major highways in the country. I cannot see what the Federal government gains by hanging onto so called assets it cannot maintain.

Incompetent set of people...it's poor nigerians that will pay for the construction of the road through tax, tolling....all the money realized from removal of fuel subsidy and the loans they collect everytime what are they doing with it

you guys are funny, do you think a private entity will just take up any road on BOT (build operate and transfer) , without considering the viability? Lagos/Ibadan expressway was given to Babalakin's Bi courteny under PPP by FG years back but they couldn't get the required fund to do the project till the contract was revoked and was given to Julius Berger and RCC which is being funded by FG. Apart from Dangote that build the Gbagada/Oshodi/Apapa expressway based on tax concessions, how many roads are built on PPP in Nigeria. Even Lekki express purportedly built through PPP, Lagosians are agitating it shouldn't be tolled. If the Sango/ Abẹ́òkúta road ìs rebuilt through PPP, motorists will pay nothing less than 1,000 per trip at the toll. How many motorist can afford that

The road actually started from empire in surulere then it passed though mushin, Oshodi, straight from Oshodi to Abule Egba etc

Very bad arrangement. The road starts from Abule Egba in Lagos and goes through Sango Otta in Ogun then to Abeokuta. If you tell Ogun state to only work on its own section that's Otta to Abeokuta and toll it. Then who works on the Lagos section? Wil they also be told to work on it with their money and build another toll gate too?
Its a federal road. The section of it that falls in Lagos is equally very bad. Is it going to be ignored? Why make arrangements only for the part that falls into Ogun state and leave out the side that falls into Lagos state. Sanwo Olu should please week clarifications on this immediately.
