brought her out to the shore

Most women don't love men who go the extra miles for them because to them they ain't feeling him. It is only the person she "feels" that wins the price and that person may not be amongst those on your list. Even if he is on the list there are chances that the person who put his life on the line (hunter and fisherman) will not get the price because there are lots of "feeling factor " that will knock them off the price.

In synopsis, when it comes to women help because you want to help humanity and not because you are waiting for a price (sex, marriage etc) else you will get your hands burnt.

As for me; I think the Singer deserves her, because if not for him, the crocodile would have vanished with the girl, and the Hunter, the Doctor and the Fisherman wouldn't have anybody to save in the first place.

No one deserve the girl as they all played a role according to their own talents, they can settle this as men by deciding who likes the girl, then observe who the girl attracted to, then leave the girl for whoever that person is.
