When I said being emotional on your part its cos Im seeing you as a yorubaman or a Lagosian, whilst me on my part Im not yoruba nor do I live in Lagosian from PHC/Delta so Im an outsider taking a holistic view of the whole situation and giving my on view as to how the issue could have been best handled or dealt with.Ok I will go with your school of thought that the issue would be resolved as the said traders council are active. Not this Igbo yoruba E war few miscreants started here already. If you check these miscreant very well, turn them upside down <5million nor dey their bank account. they will be here making mouth.
I'm living close to alaba. I know how generally all market people including Yoruba, igbo and Hausa do liter newly constructed road. If you come to iyana iba . The newly finished ten lane road has turned to heap of rubbish.
we are still expecting the blue line rail phase 2 to get to that route and yet we cant keep what we have clean.
When it comes to environmental sanitation it is wrong for people to view it from an ethnic perspective. Its even a shame to say, that other market are more dirtier than us why focus on us.
The issue is you don't even have to be dirty in the first place. The market can organize themselves and pay lawma to bring their truck to pack waste and keep the environment clean.
So far its environmental hazard that is been involve i do support the government effort. A greater Lagos will benefit everyone because before you enter brt bus or blue rail its your cowry card that would be needed not your APC membership card.

Lagos no send una papa

I’ve been saying it here that Lagos has what it takes to shut down all the markets and Lagos remains Lagos.

Lagos doesn’t need anyone but you all need Lagos

if Alaibo was filled with billionaires like y’all wanna make us believe, why not remain in Alaibo and sell your ware so you can make all the money you want? But i guess you know the truth but chose to believe your own lies, your people are the ones benefiting most from one Nigeria but yet you turn around and scream that people hate you but yet can stay alone. How many other Nigerian are living in Alaibo compared to your people outside Se and yet they still have a better quality of life than you dolt that have to migrate to survive! fact😊

They will still reopen it by the time the LASG Tax and Revenue offices are starved of funds. grin grin

That was how they shut down Ladipo market and reopened it later when the number of truck plying the Lagos highways reduced because of scarcity of spare parts.

Igbos in Lagos are the ones feeding the Lagos State Government and by the time they are starved of taxes they enjoy from Alaba traders, they will use shame and reopen the market.

Calm down, you can't tell the government where to begin their sanitation... They will start from the people that insulted them during election because they gave them enabling environment.

They should relocate to their Alaigabo from Alaba. Stupid people that doesn't know the fact that for a business to succeed you must have a willing buyer and seller. Yorubas dey patronize una and you dey feel like king, go sell to your poor village people na and see if you will make money

I don't blame u, na Ur village people fault, am sure u lack some etiquette for speaking those rubbish out of Ur mouth

There are no Kano or Kaduna markets in Lagos. All markets belong to Lagos and they will lock down any market that refuses to comply with laid-down laws.

And what is laid down rules if u no of any?

I knew from beginning that Alaba and Trade Fair were their targets. They started with small small markets, then Ladipo market, before hitting the big ones.

Nigerian politicians are so predictable. I even told a a friend that all those small markets they were closing were smoke screens. Their ultimate targets are Alaba and Trade Fair.
.

Most of you people are just too sentimental and with this kind of mindset ,I doubt if this country will be great.
So because they are traders they should not clean their environment or they not locking shoes in the east as well?

Are you the only ethnic nationality living in Lagos? You talk about extortion like it doesn’t happen in onitsha yet when they tell you to go back home and do as you like because you dolt are lawless, you cry that they hate you? You are just confused😂
