HI all,
i remember my childhood with lots of happy memories.
i want to dedicate dis post to my mummy.
what do you miss most about your mum now that u r living away from home.

for me, i miss all the affection my mum gives me,
i rebelled when i was a teenager, i was rude and angry and thot everyone hated me.
i would storm out of evening devotion refusing to pray with the rest of the family, BUT
my mum would sneak intomy room at night place her hand on my fore head and pray for me.

now i remember all that and pray dat God give her long life and give me grace to treat my kids with
such patience.

I miss it when my mom would tell us stories. Sometimes she would read to us out of books and other times she would tell stories dramatically. smiley

Yup if she didn't call all the time. Even when I'm doing the kini sad ,  if you are not careful you might think its a girl i dumped stalker thats ringing up my phone always. My dad was worse at calling though ,  I miss him now because he's late. The crime I committed was that I'm the first child

Hmmm
Going down memory lane,I miss everything about my mum, ranging from the delicious meals, her constant stalking calls whenever I'm away from home, her long sermon and prayers, her funny ways of nagging, her Legendary left back hand slap(specially for my two older siblings)I do get some once in a while sha,her comedy of an argument with Dad,her sometimes annoying but loving way of making someone feel like a baby(imagine walking into my room at night, asking if I've bathed and brushed before going to bed),her entertaining stories of her childhood and youth,I miss the heart to heart talk about boys and sex(dreaded it when she was here)I could go on forever,I really miss her beyond words.God rest her beautiful soul.

She is my greatest motivator. When I think of her I get fired up in whatever I'm doing. As a young boy, she was always advising me. I still owe her a lot.

I remember (with nostalgia) how mum used to remove meat that hung in between my teeth with match sticks, and how i would cry if she threw away the meat removed, thinking it would have gone back to my mouth for another round of chew. wink

I miss everything about my mom.

I miss my yuppy, no non nonsense mom, I miss her hair, her eyes & her dance steps. My mom was practically my best friend though I didnt tell her everything but only when I am in a mess that I can't get myself off. My mom is always there for me no matter what. I wonder why she never had white hair because of my stress but she was always my mom first before anything.

I thank God she stopped flogged me because my mom is so fit that she can lift anyone and run to you if you are trying to avoid the whip. After she beats me, she would come to me feeling guilty and says she has broken an egg then she would pet me.

I am even hungry now, I miss her cooking. I miss her jokes and stories which I am always compelled to listen to because I am the selfish one, I like to do the talking & she listens wholeheartedly. I miss covering her up when she falls asleep & she forgets to protect herself from cold. I miss her humanitarian heart which we fight over sometimes but she is just too kind. I miss how we used to sneak out of church the service that still on at 4pm since 8am, she would stand up first then I will follow with her bag & bible. I miss seeing movies with my mom, we go from Naija movies to foreign ones & she would interprete, translate & summarize a movie we are watching together & I try to make her happy so I have to listen. I miss her prayers & fasting for my sake. I miss her struggle & hustle to give me the best. I miss her talking about me to her friends, colleagues & family.

I miss her teachings on how to be a strong lady & independent. Those teachings I live for. I never appreciated her much because I saw her everyday but in this wicked world its good to know you have one person you can trust, lean on & draw wisdom from. So I don't say it much but I miss my mom & I love her so much, she is my everything. (I am all teary, May God look after her for me)

I still miss some of the things she does although I won't miss her NOW because she's still here, A caring, loving and adorable woman. I call her everyday (at least twice, to say good morning and @ evening to discuss my day). My mom has been my pillar and strength, my focus and drive, she calms me in time of trouble and does not hesitate to stand in the gap for me. She goes out of her way to please us (my siblings and I), and her discipline? She thought us a life lesson, she's always there to preach (usual with moms), did I talk about her food and pastries? Damn, I wish I stayed with her to eat her soup daily smiley smiley smiley Words cannot describe how much I love my mom,

I love you mom and will always love you --- Obi.

Everything form her cooking, her smile, her hugs, i can't even list everything because remembering her makes me cry. She died when i was 9 and my life has never been the same. There are aunts and female family friends but nobody can ever replace your mother, no one.

My mum died when I was a little girl. From the little I can remember about her, she was a strong woman with great sense of humour. Growing up without her was never easy. I had to learn a lot fast cos I was the only girl. I miss u mum. RIP. To every mother, who has played a great role in my life, I appreciate you all
