I'd suggest you watch YouTube videos to make your choice or better still, go to the shops, and get first hand experience so u'll make a better choice but personally, I think the Samsung would do a better job since well, it's samsung and the Redmi 12 I would say is a lower low midrange by xiomi although you should not expect amazing photos from any of the phones as they are both on the lower end of midrange phones
