So there is a part of the electoral law that roughly says the emergence of candidates in a party is an internal matter and other parties cannot challenge how the party pick its candidates, it is only the members of the party can do so. But I have noticed that political parties are seemingly blind to this law and each and everytime they challenge the manner another party picks its candidates, that part of their case gets thrown out. So why do they keep doing it?

It's because Nigerian politicians are desperate and goaded by equally desperate lawyers.
It's the same with 25% votes of Abuja, bringing CSU matter to the supreme court and the use of BVAS for transmission of results.
They know.

They are not actually blind, the lawyers blinds them by making them believe in false hope. The case of Atiku and Tinubu comes to mind. The Supreme Court judges told the kids lawyers that they know the certain parts of case should not have come at all. That the lawyers knew. How would the lawyers eat if they throw out all cases from politians?
