Wike Vs Fabura: PDP Governors Summon Emergency Meeting meeting

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF) has called for an emergency meeting to address the crisis in Rivers State.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the Akwa Ibom State Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.

The crisis is reportedly related to a rivalry between the current state governor, Mr. Similaye Fubara, and the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, who is now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Fubara was elected under the opposition party but hasn't been closely associated with the forum since taking office.

South-South leader Chief Edwin Clark has attributed the crisis to former Governor Wike and called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene and prevent any unlawful attempts to remove Governor Fubara and manipulate the state's leadership.

Same wealth is in one man's pocket and one region keeps running there to have a taste of it, their wealth is so well distributed among themselves that it's not enough for them, they have to run to the other region to scramble for the other wealth in the man's pocket and non of this region is South south.
