From my interactions with women and girls from the southwest of nigeria, i was able to get some information and
reasons on why their dating culture is less crazy from those of other southern tribes. Everything is as summarized below.
We the good ladies of south west extraction dont engage in these illicit ways because of the home training given to us by our mothers, and also because on our own we don't wanna bring insults and bad image to our families, culture, societies and ourselves. However, some bad elements within our communities do indulge in illicit affair and even do multiple datings but that's an exception, a real lady who is a real daughter of the soil is shy and ethically brought up and will not be found in dirty affairs.
