Two brothers, Chinedu and Omama, were beaten to a pulp, tyres were placed on their necks, petrol doused on their bodies, and they were set on fire in the full glare of the cheering public in Onitsha, Anambra state. The President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, said and did absolutely NOTHING, as did the NLC he leads.

And now, they are shutting down the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and halting flights to and from the nation's capital because of a local matter that happened to Ajaero in Imo.

Look at their video. They are saying, 'An injustice to one is an injustice to all!' So, what happened to Chinedu and Omama is an act of justice? Or Chinedu and Omama are less human than Ajaero? Which is it?

How is this PUNISHMENT INFLICTED upon the entire Nigerian nation affecting Hope Uzodinma or Imo State? If you stop people from flying into Imo, does that not help Uzodinma win the election scheduled for Saturday? Ajaero is from Imo and cannot deny that he went there to campaign for the Labour Party candidate. This is very dictatorial of Joe Ajaero. The NLC under him serves his personal agenda rather than the national interest.
