Nigerian amapiano is different from SA amapiano and most of the time I still prefer local sound or the one from Botswana, because their sound is similar to ours.

Maybe if you were talking about afrobeat, because even though I don't usually listen to it, but every now and then when I'm bored I'd go to YouTube and play some Nigerian afrobeat.

Your amapiano is for you guys there in West Africa and maybe the world, I don't know... It has got a fusion of afrobeat in it, while our amapiano derived from kwaito... For me it's about the originality of the sound, the culture, and the message it conveys rather than who's nominated for a Grammy.

And in my opinion, amapiano is not complete without SA vernaculars.

Thanks for your submission, I still believe Ka Valungu is the best Amapiano sound Ive listend to. I dont know what hes saying, but certainly the best sound from SA. You can make music your hobby too, it helps cleans the soul. Ive got a sound bar, head set, ear piece just because of my love for music. I cant sing at all, Ive got a very horrible voice, but I get immersed in the musical spirit.
