My annoyance is the defence they put for these bastards! In the judgement, it was mentioned that Tijani did not know rape was a criminal offence due to his cultur e. You can imagine it when readers go through such a statement? Then, they log on to the web to see his fellow compatriots defending him brazenly in public, thus corroborating what they read and solidifying their stereotypes.

Black people don't have economic leverage, unlike Chinese or Indians. So, comparing ourselves to others in terms of criminality is absurd. The world does not work that way. One cannot be poor and aggressive at the same time. That is a double whammy.

The South Asians, especially the Pakistanis, also do it with kids. They have leverage in terms of throwing the Islamophobic card whenever accused and have penetrated the British government. Nigerians have not achieved the same feat. It is the White British elites I blame. Such nonsense would never happen in wealthy Asian countries. If any man must defile their girls, it must be the natives (who get punished), not outsiders. They deal ruthlessly with outsiders who sexually harass their young ones.

I once suggested that people like Tijani and his likes are the ones who have been imprisoned in the abroad for heinous atrocities and later deported, then come here to chant that relocating is not good and smear Western countries and living standards. They never explained in detail how life was for them while in the prison west.

The jury is out, but when people see evil, they should condemn it wholeheartedly without ifs or buts. They should not give excuses for their crimes. That has been my stance.
