Hello.

I would like to build a modern primary and/or high school in Africa. How much money do you think I would need for this?

It's better you do the survey by yourself.

first the cost would be dependent on which country. Building material cost, licensing cost, average salary for employees vary by country

So what country or county are you looking at?

I can. But I'm mode interested of starting a new project. I have a civilization ambition for that school. It won't be one of the numerous places where students just receive regular lectures, no.

Yes, I can do that in Cameroon. But I am wondering how much it would cost in other parts of the continent, such as Nigeria

You can try two countrues. Primary in one. Secondary in the other after a while there will be both teacher and student exchanges

Interesting. Nonetheless, teacher and student exchange seem complicated. Especially for the students who are still kids. Maybe for the teachers only. But why would they do it? In any case, what do you think?

First consider safety of location. Government and societal friendliness to the instituition. I advice that if urban areas, you have fewer concerns. If rural areas, you have to carefully study the terrain like study your competition. Be as far from competition as possible to avoid and avert strife.

Thanks, noted.

But what could cause strife between two schools? Aren't we both working towards common good? Aren't there enough kids to fill our classes?

Ah. Jesus. You don't know grin

Let me use a school i saw to explain. A woman built a school and was offering almost tuition free education. The schools around her went diabolical. No matter the number of students she gains, the students after a while would begin to say they no longer want education and opt out. Magnificent structure but has been in sickly state for years

Africans use voodoo to fight perceived competition. Hence people prefer to have cluster schools in the urban and far away from compeition.

Oh wow! I actually planned to offer very reduced tuition fees... I didn't factor in the possible animosity from the other schools

This is what to do. Do not thrive or depend on self knowledge. Example as i write i am in an hinterland. No houses at all, just one school. I have travelled across 80 rural hunterland areas so i know africa well.

You should act using guides and P.A.s so you operate from a distance. In a way that you can even present yourself as the mananger not the owner.

Your assistants will do the survey and management of activities both before, during and after establishment. Operating at a distance keeps things from getting directly to you or reduces their momentum before it reaches you. Thus way you have fewer managemental issues to tackle head-on

That is sad. But I want to point out that it's not only Africa, though. All continents do it.

So, I go in a village and build a practically free school to help the kids, they will try to mystically attack me? Why can't people see beyond their pockets?

Yes, your points highlight that it would not be wise to just come into any area and build a school without inquiring about the people and the current state of affairs, especially if such a school would be radically different from the other ones.

My dear. If i tell you my story, you will weep. I am telling you all this so you dont fall into the pit that took ten years of my life to fix.

It happens everywhere globally but that south america, asua and africa brings extreme diabolical means to the game.

It is why you should consider areas that are somewhere mixed between rural and urban. I recommend you choose IBEJU LEKKI if you will be choosing Lagis, Nigeria.

I did not think about this. Thank you very much for the tip.

I can only say i crashed from over 40M to begging to feed. Have to watch dependents die from my fall and lack of financial attention. Perceived competition from chikdhood friend who is still hunting my life for over ten years.

I am in a local terrain currently, every local terrain i step into. I find trusted hands and do things in partnership with them. And i am always selective of the hands i work with too
