Reality and Assumptions are two parallel phenomenon.

This is based on Reality and not Assumptions.

This is based on Reality and not political party affiliation, religious or tribal lines.

Over the years, a man has been buying bags or rice, tubers of yam, gallons of palm oil and other food items for his family. The family has been feeding and living well...especially in comparison to present realities.

However, there's something that has been a source of concern for this man, that he has been ignoring...

What's that

This man has actually been coping with a neighbour who has been feeding fat from whatever he purchases (stealing), he doesn't like it and feels he could have saved more if this neighbour wasn't stealing from his purchases.

This man now decides that he will deny his neighbour access to the food he purchases for his family, and the best way to do this is to stop buying food for his family.

This action has made his family to become hungry and suffering as they could not have easy access to food nor basic amenities....although the man claims he has now been able to save more by not providing for his family while denying his neighbour access to the family food.

He also claims to provide palliative for his family but in reality these palliatives will have to pass through new neighbours who themselves did not make his family have access to such palliatives hence he created new theives at the detriment of his family's well being.

Is it proper or wise for this man to watch his family die of hunger and hardship?

Reality is that there's nothing he claims to be doing to grant ease or succor to his family has indeed achieved its purpose going by his family's testimony, except for wide spread complaint of hunger and hardship.

He however insisted to have been saving more!

The question is: to the benefit of who?
His family members or few individuals who have been denying his family good life...

His family needs your opinion about this, is it better to have a fat saving account and be hungry?

Whatever affiliation you have towards religion, tribe or political party, WHAT IS THE REALITY AROUND YOU?
