Tecno recently introduced a new flip phone called the Phantom V Flip, following the launch of its foldable smartphone, the Phantom V Fold. The phone belongs to the V series and stands out with its distinctive cover display. The Tecno Phantom V Flip resembles a modern flip phone with a foldable OLED screen on the inside, a sleek metal hinge, and a small cover display for notifications and widgets on the outside. The exterior of the V Flip is covered in vegan leather, and its unique feature is the round cover OLED surrounded by a black bezel housing the cameras and flash. This design sets it apart from other flip phones. The phone boasts a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO OLED with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. The cover display is a 1.32-inch AMOLED with 352ppi density. Powered by the Dimensity 8050 5G chipset, the V Flip offers promising gaming potential. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 storage. Tecno, known for its premium camera experience, equips the V Flip with a 64MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary camera for ultrawide photos. The selfie camera features a 32MP Tetracell sensor. Additional features include stereo speakers, a 4,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on Android 13 with HiOS 13.5 and lacks ingress protection.
