Mudiame Unveils 250Million Scholarship Awards at Mudiame University, LP National Chairman, Others Charge Awardees

Yesterday, the vibrant town of Irrua in Esan Central LGA of Edo State was infused with excitement as Professor S.E. Eromosele AKA Mudiame extended a unprecedented remarkable gesture to University students through the unveiling of over 250 Million Naira worth of scholarship awards program at Mudiame University. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, royal fathers, the national chairman of the Labour Party, great personalities from all walks of life.

In an earnest address, Mudiame welcomed attendees to the program, where he passionately reflected on the societal challenges faced by many with untapped potential due to financial constraints. Drawing from his personal experience, he shared the arduous journey in his pursuit of education – from selling firewood to donning rags – accentuating the inspiration behind his philanthropic nature. Mudiame revealed that his childhood struggles were rooted in a sudden loss of family wealth, a circumstance that fueled his determination to make quality education accessible to those facing similar hardships.

HRH, King Solomon, the Izuware I, the Onojie of Ujogba in a goodwill message, commended Mudiame for his selfless sacrifices for humanity especially at a time when such is rare among the compos mentis homo sapiens. He pledged moral support for his gubernatorial aspirations in Edo state.

Also, the national chairman of the Labour Party, Barr. Julius Abure lauded the rare commitment demonstrated by the Governorship Hopeful and his institution in giving back to the society. He expressed optimism in Mudiame's potential as a leader and urged Nigerians to adopt his altruistic approach to bettering society. Barr. Abure advised scholarship recipients to serve as exemplary ambassadors of Mudiame University and make the nation proud.

Chief Livingstone Akaniwon, in a moving testament, corroborated Mudiame's challenging beginnings and his transmutation journey into a national benefactor. He emphasized the evident “God’s hand” in Mudiame's trajectory and urged him to remain steadfast in fulfilling his destiny and responsibilities to both God and the people.

The scholarship recipients and their guardians expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude for the much-needed support and offered prayers in appreciation of this benevolent gesture.
