This Man is only mentioned in few verses in the Bible

A decendant From the 7th generation of the first Man on Earth, the Father of the oldest Man ever recorded in the Bible and the great grand father of the servant of God who built the ark before the great flood, much is known and unknown about.

The book of Enoch is also much similar to the book of Revelation (of John), but much of what was not that much detailed in the Bible, leaving one to wonder is this book truly writing by the Man himself who never had any meeting with death or something apocryphal or should we even say myth?

What can we say about this

Why was this book not in the Christian Bible (except for the Ethiopian Bible)

And yet this same book was found on the Dead Sea scrolls 🤔

Could it be manipulation from the editers of the Bible? Or truly something else?

As for our traditional history,
Did we documented our history up to even the medival age? We didn't keep records until recently (probably 16th or 17th century) although you made a good point.

writing wasn't our culture. Our forefathers passed information to younger generations through oral communication. It's such a pity that we know Jewish ancestry and traditions more than our own and even teach them in schools. Some of us don't know the name of our great grand father.

Books were written by people and named after Bible characters but Enoch in the Bible never wrote any book literally however since some have chosen to believe it that's their own cup of coffee let them use it to do God's will!
