How do I treat my son's skin condition please mum's in the house . He cries every night scratching giving me sleepless night .I have taken him to the hospital.was given drugs and cream to rub but to no avail. It's over 3weeks now. Please has anybody experienced this and how did you treat it?he is a year old. It's like chicken pox or rashes .

It's Dettol I know to use not Izaloo because Its harsh.
Put a cup of it in manageable warm water and dab the affected areas continuously then rub baby tribotan or sudo creme thereafter.

Wash the bedsheets and clothes with warm water and Dettol too.
Utmost hygiene is very necessary to prevent reoccurrence cos some of it's water drops on them and reinfected baby.

Izal is for cleaning of toilets. Also, Tetmosol is not for kids. It's very hot on the skin of adults talkless of a baby.

@ OP: Use Dettol or other liquid antiseptics.

Why would u even allow a child to sleep on a bare mattress.

It is absolutely unhygienic to start with.

I think that is the genesis of the problem.

Maybe you'll try using Cacatin or tribotan.

For starters it’s called Monkey Pox.
It affects the whole surface of the body - predominantly-legs and around the Instruments and face.
What I did was to bathe him 2ce a day with a drop of dettol. While naked and I rubbed on him hydrocortisone cream. Like so

It eventually went away after about 2 weeks.
This was about 2 years ago.


We do not know what caused it - bacteria or viral not sure as he was the only one that caught it.
