Ope Banwo Led Omegapro Action Nigerian Investors (OPANI) Petition to the Nigerian National Assembly
...Demanding Action Against Foreign Ponzi Schemes, OMEGA PRO and Accountability for Enablers

In an unprecedented and united front, concerned citizens of Nigeria, led by the visionary Dr. Ope Banwo, are set to deliver a powerful petition to the Nigerian National Assembly. This impassioned plea demands swift legislative action against foreign entities exploiting the nation through Ponzi schemes, with a laser focus on the comprehensive investigation of the notorious Omegapro Forex Trading scheme and holding its enablers accountable.

The petition, representing the collective voices of thousands, will illuminate the staggering issue of Omegapro Forex Trading, an audacious Dubai-based company responsible for orchestrating one of Nigeria's largest Ponzi schemes. With over $100 billion in deposited funds and a staggering 250,000 Nigerian investors left in the wake of financial ruin, the Omegapro scheme has cast a shadow of despair and tears across the nation.

Unveiling the deceptive facade meticulously crafted by Omegapro and its enablers in Nigeria, the petition exposes trusted influencers and MLM leaders, including Daniel Onoja, Tomiwa Orunnipin, and others who vouched for Omegapro's legitimacy. Backed by endorsements from international luminaries like Les Brown and celebrities such as Ronaldinho, the Ponzi operators manipulated public trust with alleged endorsements from Dubai royalty and world-class celebrities.

Key Points of the Petition:

Investigate Foreign Ponzi Schemes: Launch an exhaustive inquiry into foreign companies, especially Omegapro, preying on unsuspecting Nigerians through destructive Ponzi schemes.

Examine Main Enablers: Scrutinize and expose Nigerian leaders who actively promoted fraudulent schemes like Omegapro.

Hold Enablers Accountable: Collaborate with law enforcement to apprehend top enablers, ensuring they refund ill-gotten commissions and face the consequences of their actions.

Enact Stringent Laws: Advocate for the passing of legislation that significantly raises barriers for foreign Ponzi operators, safeguarding citizens from further economic harm.

Engage Diplomatically for Justice: Work in tandem with the Ministry of External Affairs to diplomatically engage foreign governments, particularly Dubai, to apprehend and bring to justice those responsible for Ponzi schemes like Omegapro.

Closing Statement:

Dr. Ope Banwo, the convener of OPANI, emphasizes, "This petition is a collective plea for decisive legislative action to protect the interests of Nigeria and its people. The petitioners express confidence in the National Assembly's commitment to justice and the safeguarding of the nation's financial well-being."

Dr. Ope Banwo met Senator Gbenga Daniel and some other members of the national assembly to discuss the matter and the former governor of Ogun State who is now the senator representing Ogun Sate promise to facilitate meeting with the right committee to look into the matter and propose law that will prevent ponzi scheme to thrive in Nigeria.

Through the enactment of stringent laws and comprehensive investigations, the National Assembly will not only shield citizens from Ponzi schemes but also broadcast a resounding message that Nigeria will not tolerate the exploitation of its people and economy. The Omegapro Action Nigerian (OPANI) Class Action, representing over 10,000 Nigerians who have collectively invested over N200 billion in the Omegapro Ponzi scheme, stands united in this crucial endeavor.

Meanwhile Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has already being sent petition detailing the fraud by OmegaPRO who were actually promoted by Diamond members of the Ponzi Scheme. Key Names in the Scheme include Daniel Onoja, Grace Udenwa Udoye, Tomiwa Orunupin, Wuraola Fadairo Orunupin, Olasebikan Oladapo, Maryann Ilorah, Chinwe Ikpe, Bamidele Ajibare Samuel, Ajibare Olushola Ebunoluwa, Dotun Fatoyinbo, Bonaventure Igboanugo, Dr. Afoma Nwolisa, and Matthew Ogunmodede.

These leaders, with substantial commissions and weekly earnings exceeding $50,000, created an illusion of credibility, persuading thousands to invest in Omegapro.

And a class action lawsuit will be filed against the diamond members asking the court to compel them to give back parts of the commision to victims of fraud they actively promoted.
